A little Pompeii in the historic heart of Rimini
After two thousand years can be seen in the historical center of Rimini on the archaeological complex called the 'The Surgeon'. A little Pompeii in the heart of the city that has gained international fame for its unique materials found in the world.

Destroyed by fire in the mid-third century, the domus has revealed, among the rubble of the collapse structures, mosaics, plaster, furniture and furnishings that provide a "snapshot" of life in the great ancient Rimini.
The Domus was launched December 7, 2007 and can be visited during opening hours of the Museum with a single combined entry ticket.
